New Account Creation & 2-Factor Authentication Enrollment
A video showing new users how to create a new account on the ADA Platform and how to set up 2-factor Authentication using Microsoft Authenticator on their personal devices.
Adding a New User to ADA Platform - Managed Team and Preferences:
- Users can add a new member to the ADA Platform under the managed team and preferences.
- Upon filling out the details and saving, the added user will receive an email.
Email Verification and Potential Spam Folder:
- Instances of emails going to the spam folder have been observed.
- Users are advised to check the spam folder if the email is not found in the inbox.
- Details about the appearance of the email are provided for validation.
Invitation Acceptance within 15 Days:
- The invitation is valid for 15 days on the ADA Platform.
- If a member doesn't accept within this timeframe, re-invitation is required.
- The acceptance process involves clicking the "accept the invitation now" button in the email.
Account Setup and Verification:
- The user needs to set up the account by verifying their email with a code from Microsoft Online.
- Steps include choosing a password, display name, given name, surname, and phone number.
Two-Factor Authentication Setup:
- Users need to set up two-factor authentication during login.
- This involves downloading the Microsoft Authenticator app and scanning a QR code.
- The app generates a time-based code for added security during login to the ADA Platform.
