What is it?
The Country Rating gives us an indication of the credit strength of the country where our supplier resides.
The country rating displayed is based on the common scoring system from Standard & Poor’s from D to AAA and uses internal estimates or multiple different external rating sources if available.

Please note:
The source indicates if the rating is based on internal estimates or external credit ratings.
- External: The rating comes from an official credit rating agency.
- Internal: The platform makes an estimate on the credit rating based multiple data points.
When clicking on “Show Details” you can get more details about the overview of the Risk, Policy, Stability, and General Assessment of the respective country where the supplier resides.

Why is it important?
The country credit rating is an indication of the credit risk associated with the supplier’s home country.
