Parent and Supplier Max

What is it?

The Parent / Supplier Max Strategy looks at all the different spends within the same Parent Group and indicates what are the spends with the highest payment terms. If there are higher terms with the same supplier it could be a good opportunity to optimize the payment terms.

  • Supplier Max shows the highest payment terms within the same supplier.
  • Parent Max shows the highest payment terms within the parent group.
  • It further indicates how many different Spend Lines or Suppliers are included in the analysis and their average payment terms.

Please note:

The analysis is done with data within the provided spend file. Spend lines that represent less than 1% of the total supplier spend volume will be ignored.

If the bar chart is blue, it indicates the payment term is longer than our average days paid.

This strategy can be Disabled or Enabled by clicking on the top right button by the Administrator.

Why is it important?

It can show us that other companies in the same group are already accepting different terms and it can help us harmonize or standardize our payment terms across the organization.
