Data Quality

What is it?

It shows what is the quality of data that we provided to the platform as well as how confident the platform is that it matched the correct supplier.

Please note:

The quality of data looks at the following aspect of the data we provided:

  • Supplier’s Country, Address
  • Supplier’s Website/URL
  • Supplier’s Ultimate Parent Company
  • Supplier’s Industry and Commodity
  • Supplier’s Contractual Payment Terms
  • Supplier’s Average Days of Invoice Approval
  • Years of Relationship with Supplier
  • Day of Last Term Negotiation with Supplier
  • Supplier Using Working Capital Finance

The Quality of Data Received score is broken down into three classifications:  

  • Limited - The data quality is sufficient but minimal with just a few data points provided
  • Adequate - The data quality is good with several data points provided
  • Substantial - The data quality is excellent with many data points provided

The Platform assigns each matched company a Confidence Score. This Confidence Score is based on how close the matched company is to the original company data provided by us. There are the following levels:

  • Very High - The provided data matches in all data fields
  • High - The provided data matches most of the data fields
  • Medium - - The provided data matches some of the data fields
  • Low - The provided data matches only a few of the data fields
  • Very Low - The provided roughly matches in only one of the data fields

If the company is not matched, no Confidence Score is assigned.
